When using Apple Home - can I combine Matter and HomeKit-enabled accessories in an automation or scene? Yes you can. For automations, Apple Home makes no difference whether your devices were added to your home through HomeKit or Matter. Does Eve Energy Outlet have an onboard switch? Yes. The little green LEDs are buttons that you simply press. Eve Energy Outlet can be operated like a regular switch. Eve Energy Outlet is a Full Thread Device (FTD) – but what does that mean? Mains-powered Full Thread Devices (or FTDs) that are always on can act as routers within your Thread network and relay data packets. The more of these FTDs you have in your network, the more stable & greater its reach becomes. Can I control the two outlets individually? Yes, you can – either by voice, app or manually via the control buttons on the device. While controlling the outlets can be done individually, power consumption is measured and displayed as a combined value of both outlets.
