MatterCatalog is primarily a public product directory. You can browse product pages, guides, and retailer links without creating an account. We may collect limited information in these categories:
- Contact information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, company, and message content.
- Account or saved-list information if you use optional features such as alerts, wishlists, or profiles.
- Usage data such as pages viewed, browser type, device type, referring pages, approximate location, and timestamps.
- Affiliate click data needed to route an outbound retailer click and understand whether catalog links are working.
How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the MatterCatalog website.
- Respond to product corrections, support requests, partnerships, and licensing inquiries.
- Measure product page performance, guide usefulness, and outbound retailer link reliability.
- Prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and protect site availability.
Analytics, affiliate links, and third parties
We use analytics and affiliate technologies to understand site performance and support the catalog. When you click a retailer link, you may be sent to a third-party retailer or affiliate network. Those sites have their own privacy policies and checkout practices.
MatterCatalog does not process retailer checkout payments and does not receive your retailer payment card details.
