About MatterCatalog
MatterCatalog is an independent catalog of Matter smart home devices for shoppers in the United States. Each product page shows whether the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) has a certification record for that device, what it needs to work (for example a Thread border router or a hub), and which stores sell that exact model.
We are not owned by or officially affiliated with Amazon or the Connectivity Standards Alliance. We do not certify devices; we report on certification records that the CSA publishes.

How we check product records
- Certification. Matter certification data comes from the CSA's public records, including its Distributed Compliance Ledger (DCL). When we can match a product to a certification record, its page shows that record and links to it. When we can't, the page says the certification is unverified.
- Product details. Specifications and requirements come from certification records, manufacturer pages and store listings. We don't test devices hands-on.
How we check store links and prices
- Store links. We link to a store only after its listing matches the exact model, including pack size and variant, on the store's US site. For a model sold outside the US, the button goes to the US version and says so when one is sold; otherwise we don't link a store. We remove links that turn out to lead to a different product.
- Amazon prices and photos. These come from Amazon's Creators API. Each one is shown with the time it was retrieved, links to the Amazon listing, and is hidden once it is more than 24 hours old.
- Other stores' prices. These are read from the store's own product page for the exact variant, shown with the time they were checked, and hidden after 48 hours.
- No current price shown? Follow the "Check price" button to see the price at the store. The price at checkout is always the one that applies.
Editorial independence
Some store links are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Whether a store pays us does not decide which products we list or which certification status we show, and we also link to stores that pay us nothing. Brands and stores cannot pay for a certification label. We do not sell placement or publish sponsored content. We do not show display ads. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the programs we use and our Editorial Policy for how we label certification status, handle prices and correct mistakes.
