Certified models by category

The MatterCatalog category of each certified model, largest first, with how many state Thread or Wi-Fi and how many have a verified US store link. Lighting is the largest category at 856 models.

Certified models by Matter network

The network the product record states. Thread devices need a Thread border router. "Ethernet" means the record lists a wired connection (mostly hubs and bridges). "Not confirmed" means the record does not state Thread or Wi-Fi in a way we have verified: a bare "Wi-Fi" from an import is not counted as Wi-Fi.

Brands with the most certified models in the catalog. A brand counts every spelling of its name together (its MatterCatalog brand page). 3 certified models have no brand on file and are not counted here.

New Matter certifications per month

Product models first certified on the CSA's Distributed Compliance Ledger in each of the 24 full months before we read the whole ledger on Oct 5, 2026: every vendor, not only products we list. A model is one vendor ID and product ID on the ledger, counted in the month of its first certification. In the 12 months to Sep 2026, 1,556 models were newly certified, up from 1,189 in the 12 months before (+31%). The CSA's website lists some certificates that are not on the ledger, so these counts are a floor.

Listed on MatterCatalog counts the month's models whose certificate is on a product we list, and with a verified US store link those of them we can link to a US store for the exact model. These two columns describe our catalog, not the market: its bulk import from the ledger dates from Feb 24, 2026, and models certified since then are added in reviewed batches, so recent months have fewer matches.

Platforms listed for certified models

How many certified models list each smart home platform (the platforms shown on the product page, from the maker's or store's compatibility list). A model can list several. 811 list all four; 568 list none, which does not mean they are incompatible: it means no platform is stated on the record.
