We publish no sponsored content
MatterCatalog does not publish sponsored reviews, paid articles, advertorials or brand profiles. Nobody can pay to have a product covered, reviewed, ranked or included in a guide, and brands and stores cannot pay for a certification label. We do not show display ads.
No brand or advertiser approves our pages
No brand, store or advertiser reviews, edits or approves a page before or after we publish it. Brands are welcome to tell us when something is wrong. We check what they send against the certification record, the manufacturer's page or the store listing, and we correct confirmed factual errors on the page itself. What our pages are based on
We don't test devices hands-on. Product pages and buying guides are built from the Connectivity Standards Alliance's public certification records, manufacturer documentation and store listings. Where a listing reflects a manufacturer or retailer claim rather than a certification record, we say so on the page.

How MatterCatalog earns money
Some store links are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Whether a store pays us does not decide which products we list or which certification status we show, and we also link to stores that pay us nothing. Our Affiliate Disclosure lists the programs we use.
If this ever changes
If we ever publish paid content, this page will be updated first. Any paid placement would be labeled as sponsored and kept apart from our editorial listings, and advertisers would not receive editorial review, ranking preference, or influence over certification labelling. Today we do not sell placement or publish sponsored content, as our About page and Editorial Policy say.
