Matter smart home deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. This page lists only real price drops on Matter-certified devices at US stores: a store’s price counts as a deal when it is at least 10% below the median of our own daily price checks for that exact store listing over the previous 30 days. Each deal shows today’s price, when we checked it, and the history it is measured against.

We check each store’s own product page about twice a day; the time of our latest check shows here.

Page updated October 27, 2026. We have not tested these devices hands-on. Store prices change; the price at the store’s checkout is the one that counts. Editorial policy

Today’s Matter deals

Today’s deals load here, each with the time we checked its price. A price shows for 48 hours after our check.

How we decide what counts as a deal

Only from prices we recorded ourselves.

  • A deal is a price at least 10% below the median of our own daily prices for that exact store listing over the previous 30 days.
  • We need prices for at least 10 of those 30 days. With less history, a price is not a deal, however low it looks.
  • Our daily price is the lowest price our checks found that day, read from the store’s own product page for the exact model, in US dollars.
  • We never use a store’s “was” price or list price, and we never estimate a discount: the percentage is measured against our own median, and each deal shows that median, the number of days and the dates.
  • “The lowest price we have recorded” means no check of that store listing found a lower price since the date shown.
  • A price shows for 48 hours after our check, with the time of the check. A price the store marks out of stock is never a deal.
  • Only Matter devices with a CSA certificate for the exact model, sold by a US store. Store links are the same links their product pages show.

How to tell a real Matter deal

Five checks before you buy, wherever you shop.

  1. Check that the exact model is Matter certified. The CSA says only Matter-certified devices carry the Matter logo, and its certified product search finds a product by product name, company, keyword or certificate ID. Each product page here shows the CSA certificate we matched to the exact model.Source: CSA: Matter FAQ · CSA: Certified Products Search. Read more: How to verify Matter certification · Matter certified vs Matter compatible
  2. Compare with a price the store really charged, not its “was” price. The FTC’s pricing guide says a former price is a fair basis for a comparison only when the product was offered at that price to the public, on a regular basis, for a reasonably substantial period. This page compares with the median of our own daily checks of the same store listing instead.Source: FTC Guides Against Deceptive Pricing, 16 CFR 233.1 (eCFR)
  3. Match the model, the pack and the country. A deal on a two-pack, an older model or a version made for another country is a different product from the one you compared. Check the model number on the store page against the product page here.
  4. Count the hub a Thread device needs. A Matter device that uses Thread also needs a Thread border router, which Google describes as a special hub that connects Thread devices together. If the home has none, add one to the cost; a Wi-Fi device joins the home Wi-Fi instead.Source: Google Home Help: Prepare your smart home for Matter. Read more: Thread vs Wi-Fi Matter devices
  5. The checkout price is the one that counts. A store’s price can change between our check and your checkout. We show a price for 48 hours after our check, always with the time of the check.

Why Amazon prices are not marked as deals

Amazon prices come from Amazon’s product data and show for 24 hours after retrieval, so we don’t compare Amazon prices over time and never mark one as a deal. Products sold at Amazon show Amazon’s current price, with its time, on their product pages.

Deal questions

When are the best Matter smart home deals?

We can only answer from our own price checks, which began on September 28, 2026, so we have no Black Friday or Cyber Monday history yet. In our records so far (September 28, 2026 to October 19, 2026, 289 store listings), prices moved in groups: on October 13, 2026, 57 of the 223 store prices we checked that day rose by 10% or more from our previous check, and on October 15, 2026, 11 fell by 10% or more. Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026; our price checks run twice a day through both, and a drop shows on this page after the check that finds it.

When are Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2026?

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2026, as the US Office of Personnel Management lists it). Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026, the Monday after Thanksgiving.

How do you decide what counts as a deal?

Only from prices we recorded ourselves. A store price is a deal when it is at least 10% below the median of our daily prices for that exact store listing over the previous 30 days, and we have prices for at least 10 of those days. We never use a store’s “was” price or list price.

Why are Amazon prices not marked as deals?

Amazon prices come from Amazon’s product data and show for 24 hours after retrieval, so we don’t compare Amazon prices over time and never mark one as a deal. Products sold at Amazon show Amazon’s current price, with its time, on their product pages.

How current are the prices?

We check each store’s own product page about twice a day. A price shows for 48 hours after our check, always with the time of the check; after that the deal leaves this page until a new check confirms it. The store’s checkout price is the one that counts.

Are all of these devices Matter certified?

Yes. A product appears here only when it has a CSA certificate for the exact model on file and its product page answers “Is it Matter certified?” with Yes.
