Matter Devices by Ecosystem

Matter is the first smart home standard designed for true interoperability. Unlike older protocols where devices were locked to a single ecosystem, Matter-certified devices can work with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings — simultaneously.

This means you can control your Matter smart lock from Apple Home on your iPhone, then ask Alexa to check if it's locked, and set up an automation in Google Home — all with the same device. No more choosing between ecosystems.

How Multi-Admin Works

Matter supports multi-admin pairing, which lets you add a single device to multiple ecosystems at once. During setup, you pair the device with your primary controller (like a HomePod or Echo), then open the sharing window to add it to additional platforms.
